Phone verification: OTP is mandatory to sell
Anyone can browse Findino, but posting an ad requires a verified Indian mobile number. Verification is a one-time OTP:
- Enter your mobile number while creating your account or before posting.
- Enter the OTP sent by SMS.
- Your account is marked phone verified, permanently.
Why mandatory? One verified number per seller keeps fake accounts, spam listings and repeat scammers out. It is the first layer of Findino's trust system, and it costs you nothing.
Verification never makes your number public. It stays hidden on listings, profiles, chat and notification previews.
