Private in-app chat: how it works

Findino chat is private, in-app and text-only. It is built so you never have to hand out your number to a stranger.

• Numbers and emails stay hidden by default: in chat, on profiles, and in notification previews.
• Chats belong to a listing. Only signed-in users can message a seller, and only the two people in a conversation can open it.
• Text only in version one. No images or file sharing inside chat yet.
• Rate limits apply to new chats and messages to keep spam down.
• Close or delete a conversation any time from the chat menu.
